Ditto on the gobsmacked. I imagine the conversation went like this:

"I'm done! No, really, I'm retired! Couldn't possibly! ... Oh, go on then. One more tour. Why not? If you insist. please let me come back I am so bored!!!"

Yeah. I imagine that's pretty much how it went down. Can't imagine what the rest of the team think, though. Or maybe I can... ;)
