Okay, so there's a short version and a long version of this story.

The short version is that I fell today skiing.  I have hurt my knee.

The long version ( is somewhat longer. )

Thank everyone who wished me (or the alter ego) a happy birthday.  Aside from this minor little mishap, it's been a very nice day.
