WHY DOES THE STUFF THAT MADE SENSE YESTERDAY NOT MAKE SENSE TODAY ANYMORE OMG??1?!!!?1?!!!!!

I have run out of things to say, so I think I'm going to just hand this chapter in now. I'm pretty sure I probably don't need that section on the link between creating public characters in the form of celebrities and the mass manipulation of sentiment for the purpose of building press power. I also probably don't need that entire section I skipped out on writing last week in which I discuss the Pall Mall Gazette under the editorship of John Morley.

(I got bored. I wanted to write about Stead. I told myself I'd go back and write the Morley bit later, but it's later now, and I still don't want to.)

I also probably don't need an introduction or conclusion, really. Which is good, because I have neither. All I have are a bunch of words all smooshed together on a page. I don't know if they even make sense anymore.

They don't to me.
