5 March 2007 05:44 pmAm KNACKERED. Teaching very tiring this week already and it's only Monday. Today I fell down the stairs -- well, that makes it sound worse than it was. I fell down ON the stairs and ended up sitting on the top step. Of course I was surrounded by students at the time. It was in between classes, so everyone saw. I had students coming up to me all afternoon going, "Miss, did you really fall down the stairs?" because their friends had seen it and told them all about it.
Woot! I am so cool and all my kids think so.
Except not.
Anyway, drowning in work. We have a Distinguished Person scheduled to visit later this week, which is making extra work for everyone. We are all quite frazzled. We fly about the school (some of us falling down the stairs as we go) and wave vaguely at eachother on the way to the photocopier or the staff room or what have you. It's all very life-in-the-trenches like.
