2 December 2004 12:34 amI had things I was going to say. I swear I had things I was going to say when I opened up lj. Those things are gone now.
Lots of things have happened since I last properly updated. I helped my dad gyprock the basement -- I am, as it turns out, quite handy. A little on the unknowledgeable, but handy. I drove back to Ottawa successfully. I protested Bush (there are pictures -- I'll post 'em tomorrow). I watched a lot of CSI and ate a lot of cookies with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mcee (I am so happy that people -- and I'm looking at mcee and lmondegreen here! -- are getting into my show and I finally have someone to squee with). I stayed over at mcee's last night, too, as I had noticed a sign to the effect that, due to plumbing repairs, the water was going to be off.
As it turns out, I got it confused -- tonight is the night with no water.
Er.
Oops.
People were snippy to me today. I hate people. A student showed up at 3pm for my 10-11am office hours. I was in the library at the time. The student wandered around the department asking plaintively whether or not anyone had seen me because he wanted his essay back. There was also an exceptionally snippy bus driver. He inspired an actual anger face. It looked like this: >:o
Still -- hung out atmcee's new apartment, put together some Ikea furnature without the proper tools, and watched even more CSI.
I love that show.
I'm going to stop blithering now. Tomorrow is going to be a lie-in day -- I have been feeling awfully crap all day. Kind of headachey and all around tired. This means there will be plenty of time to finally make up the Christmas wishlist meme and reply to emails and all that other sort of thing.
