Morning cancelled due to technical difficulties (read: car trouble). Am still in North Bay. Or, rather, back in North Bay after I got up at 5:00am to leave by 5:30am so that I could make it back to Ottawa in time for my 10:00am office hours (which, like the morning, are also cancelled). I got as far as half way to Mattawa (half an hour from North Bay) when the aforementioned technical difficulties hit and I had to turn around and come back. Anyway, trying again for Ottawa after lunch. Stay tuned for further updates.

I just found an essay in my marking pile that was printed entirely in dark blue ink. I love it. It almost makes up for the essay that I'm half convinced is plagerised.

Oops. My lamp just turned itself off. Since the Roommate moved out, this place has become haunted, I swear. Or perhaps it always was haunted and I just attributed all the unexplainable lights turning off and sounds and the like to the Roommate, but have lost that excuse.

Or, perhaps, the bulb I installed isn't quite the right size and keeps slipping to the side.

Which is a distinct possibility, since the light turned back on when I reached over and shook the lamp.
