I have gotten to the point where I haven't posted in long enough that now I'm not posting because I am overwhelmed at the thought of trying to update adequately.
I have therefore decided to do my best to collapse the last month or so into a point-form list.
- after the great French Infringement of July 29th, I went home.
- had a great time. saw family and pets and things.
- went to a family wedding and visited all relatives of the grand- or great- generation.
- came back to England. BF picked me up at the airport. he brought me Starbucks after an all night flight.
- went geek camping with the BF -- I stuck elf ears on and sat in a field and drank beer and read comics for five days. awesome.
- went into work a couple of days. useful if not quite so awesome.
- replaced my stolen phone, Nintendo DS Lite, BF's Nintendo DS (he got a Lite in replacement). still to replace, my wallet.
- BF picked up his brand spanking new, 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 yesterday morning. this will be awesome once I am allowed on the back. which I am not currently. but will be within a month.
- guests over yesterday. much fun and frolic.
- helped pack up the room of a friend from New Zealand who had to go back at short notice because her mother was given six months to live -- not awesome at all.
- have had a brilliant holiday. best ever. very relaxed, if not entirely rested due to jampackedness of it all.
- school starts tomorrow. eking out last of enjoyment tonight with lounging on the couch and movies and beer and things.
- church across the road has its bells in full peal. very nice accompaniament to dinner.
On that note, dinner is on the table and I am off. Will certainly make an effort to update more frequently. And in better prose, more detail, and proper grammar.
