I'm back in Ottawa. The cats are not pleased that I abandoned them for the long weekend. I was ignored completely for the first hour I was home. Now, they're following me around with disapproving looks on their faces.

In other news, am back on the diet. For real, this time, not like I've been playing at for the past few months. No more faffing about, it's back to weighing and measuring and drinking the proper amounts of water per day and writing everything down. I'm not even going to sneak Easter eggs.

Gym, office hours, and a start on chapter two of the thesis tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm doing the diet/exercise thing too. Feels good! I don't know how much weight I'm losing but it's all worth it for the extra energy, which goodness knows I need more of while I'm pining away for the next Smallville episode. (Or Lost. Whatever.)
